              Have asked Rome for a dispensation to assist in enduring the long fast on Sundays. Act as if you now have it. Take nourishment before 2nd Mass (nothing alcoholic). So as not to cause scandal do it on the QT - explain if necessary to your housekeeper that you have special leave for this.
