              John Selwyn Gummer, Baron Deben PC (born 26 November 1939 in Stockport, Cheshire) is a British Conservative Party politician, formerly Member of Parliament (MP) for Suffolk Coastal and now a member of the House of Lords. He is chairman of the UK's independent Committee on Climate Change. He also chairs the sustainability consultancy Sancroft International, recycler Valpak, GLOBE International – the Global Legislators Organisation for a Balanced Environment, the Association of Professional Financial Advisers and Veolia Water UK. He is a non-executive director of Veolia Voda, The Catholic Herald and the Castle Trust – a mortgage and investment firm. He is a trustee of climate change charity Cool Earth and the ocean conservation charity, Blue Marine Foundation.

              Gummer stood down from the House of Commons at the 2010 general election and was appointed to the House of Lords as Lord Deben.[8]

              He was influential in relations between the Catholic and Anglican Churches during the consolidation of plans to create the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. A 2012 Tablet article described him as a "clear preacher with a good sense of humour".

              Seed, Michael Rev (1957-)

              Michael Seed (born 1957) is a priest, a Franciscan friar, author, and former ecumenical advisor for over 25 years to the former archbishop of Westminster Cardinal Basil Hume then to Cormac Murphy-O'Connor. Fr Michael retired from Westminster in July 2008. Seed is known for his involvement in helping several British celebrities, members of the Royal Family and politicians decide on conversion to Catholicism.
