Following Bishop Grant's survey of churches and presbyteries it was decided that King's Lynn needed doing first. The work has to go before the finance board. Recommended solution is to replace gas fires with oil-fired boilers. Estimates have gone to Mr Boon the surveyor. Allflatt did the sanctuary for £400 less than others. More work to be done.

              Covering letter for a survey.
Now impossible to provide a resident priest at Burnham Market. Loathe to hand the Parish back to the Bishop as Salvatorians have look after it for a long time. The bishop has said he cannot supply a resident priest himself. Suggestion is that a rota be established with month by month assignments - so the attached pro-forma is to identify those members who are prepared to do a stint. Fr Louis and Fr Sullivan will cover for January 1994.
