Hammond, Leo Andrew Rev (1913-1999)Approach to managing interim payments via Mr Sauvain and the Architect. The Schools Commission intends to provide a share of nursery places. Discusses the current and future numbers for 3 and 4 year olds. Hammond, Leo Andrew Rev (1913-1999)Plans for leave near Marseilles and arrangements for supply conflict with news of a Synod. Sisters are anxious to resolve the placement of the chapel - the room for the chapel was the library, the bedroom overhead will be a class room, the bath overhead at the altar end will be removed. The Holmes affair is settled and the child entered for the Convent at reduced rates - no ill will shown by the parents. However, there is a boycott of the convent in place by the congregation. Staffing for when the sisters take over the school.
Stokes, Edmund Harold Rev (-1961)To meet Sauvain soon - plan for school unchanged from some time ago. The Education department needs no application for the 75% grant but Fr Wace will apply for a loan equal to the remaining 25% although do not need all of it. School expansion possible with room for three more classrooms; kitchen currently will cater for 120 but in due course could cater for 210.
