Sending the Bishop a list of the Travelling Mission's commitments. Also has engagements for his illustrated talk on the work of the Mission. Requests reasonable notice for any changes pending.
Attached are three pages listing dates, times, venues for the TM visits.
Provides a full timetable for the visit and discusses a number of the elderly and sick who would greatly appreciate a visit from the Bishop. To do all that is required and meet the people concerned Fr Watkin suggests some of Monday too.
Watkin, Aelred Rev MA FSA FRSA FRHistS (1918-1997)Fr John Smith confirms the Bishop will: preach at 8am mass at Gillingham; 10am Confirmation Mass at Beccles will be said in English; preach at the 6.30pm; visits of 10 minutes each i the afternoon; cup of tea at the convent; visit to St Mary's Home. All about best use of the Bishop's time without making it seemed rushed.

(To Mr Wingate) The schedules agreed at the site are subject to some stipulations - there is no objection to the work itself - but, would be unlawful to start before 3 month notice period expires.

Meeting schedule agreed and detailed. Mr Smith advised Guild will be included in next Ipswich Town Guide with illustrations of the 4 plaques of Our Lady. Wolsey Walk to be published. Mayor is sending Ancient Charter of Ipswich to Nettuno with greetings.
