Ecumenical Centre - Ecumenical centre in Norwich is a literature centre; St Matthew's (Fletcher Centre) is successful; visit to Norwich suggested to see how the latter operates.

1983/1984 - Pope's visit; Redemption; The Indulgence - Jubilee Indulgence; DEsignated Palces - for gaining an indulgence; Not Either/Or - form of absolution; Holy Week in Holy Year; The Diocese - departures, Bishop in Peru asking for more "John Drury's"; Peru - his visit; Peter Leemi is Asst. Sec, to Diocesan Schools Committee; Gary Dowsey is Diocesan Information Officer; Rome - pilgrimage being organised by Fr Philip Shryane; Sick Brethren - Hugh Capper, Joe Sweeney, Jim Smith, Brendan Peters, Gerry Quigley

3 weeks before the trip to Normandy. Providing a proposed daily itinerary. Some trip advice on preparations, travelling and taking spending money. Payment by cheque at £225 per person or £450 per couple.

9th June East Anglia Diocesan Pilgrimage to Walsingham - coach arrangements. Annual Mass at Oxburgh Hall on 19th July. Quarterly meeting on 6th June with a talk by Emily Clark (overseas missions)

The committee officers are: Chairman, Tony Howes; Vice Chairman, Pat Scrutton; Secretary/Treasurer, Barbara Scrutton.
Two members have died - will arrange a memorial mass. Invite suggestions for speakers. Visits planned for Oxburgh Hall and Thursford.

Reminder of the meeting on 8 June when Fr Seely will talk about the stained glass. Mass at Oxburgh Hall followed by supper at the Bedingfeld Arms. Summer excursion to Cromer Pavilion Pier. Dowry of Mary Pilgrimage. AGM on 7 December. Annual retreat at Walsingham 14-16 December.
