1930: writing to Bishop Cary regarding the validity of a protestant baptism.
Born 9 November 1868 in Milan; died 11 June 1952 in Lodi, Italy. His siblings, 2 brothers and 2 sisters , were also ecclesiastics. He was Ordained 9 August 1891
Nominated as a Bishop by Benedict XV on 21 December 1914 and consecrated on 15 February 1915. He became Bishop of Lodi in July 1927.
