Writing from Lyndon. Fr Flint visited canon Eeles and found him in bed but comfortable. He may be allowed out of bed by the end of the week. Does not feel there needs to be any anxiety about the Canon. A catholic nurse is tending to him. His doctor (Dr Sexton) is a catholic.
Flint, James Rev (-1936)Having spoken to Fr Fears, Fr McCormack thinks that the folding altar is his 3rd version. He wonders how it came to be in the Brandon garage. At one time he gave it to Mr Eric St John-Foti who had bought a farm, restored it ("Hermitage Hall") and opened a museum there. A while later it was all sold but Fr McCormack was not contacted about this at the time.
He is known as "Mac2" as Fr McBride is also known as "Mac".

Drank the bishop's health during luncheon at Lynford. Madame [Mrs Lyne Stephens] most charming and said she'd visit Lynn. Canon said she would not. May expect £500. Photographs taken by Fr W. were successful and Madame was pleased with the proofs.
