Ministry of Defence (1940-)pg1-2: The meeting at the presbytery (16 September) will include Mr Schaik and Stan Tucker. Will review the drawings and the bill of quantities sent out to tenderers. Tenders to be opened midday on 10 October. Describes the procedure. Not sure about the diocesan advice on who should attend - ask Fr Wace for clarification? Perhaps invite Fr Wilson too?

Headed "Paid by Fr Wilson". Three headings - Church, Studio, House. It lists a few items of expenditure of maintenance/repair for each heading between Oct 1907 and April 1909.
Not signed or dated. Assumed to be written by Fr Wilson.
Copy of Fr Phillips' list of articles sent by the Association of Perpetual Adoration (assumed Wymondham put instead of Woburn by mistake).
Note added by Bishop, dated 21 November 1930, saying unknown whether these have arrived, list was sent to Wymondham but no sign of the items.
2 pages comprising 3 columns; First column lists the work/cost items; 2nd column is total expenditure for that item; 3rd column is additional work or alterations "ordered by me". A commentary on the costs follows on page 2 providing a view on these additional costs and an inability under contract to control them.
Original contract value is stated as £5865/7/5. Final payment, all in, is £8059/13/2. "Of this sum a little over £1500 was to hand when I cam to Wymondham. The other £6500 was collected by me between October 1947 and the present date: Sept 1953."
