Chris Toller (of ????) undertook the 5 year review of Wymondham property. Nothing to worry, except to reserve £10,000 for re-roofing the Presbytery in a year or so. They considered future development of the parish in Attleborough, given that the parish has no property there. The old C of E Hall is to come to the market soon, Chris Toller sees this as an opportunity. So Fr Brown is raising it with the Bishop despite his lack of means. Sister Alies is soon to be out of hospital but will not be able to drive and it is thought that having her based in Attleborough would provide someone on the spot would provide support for local people.

Personal note: keeping fairly well, but, off colour at times and things, at times, get on top of him. Not had a proper holiday - so perhaps it is his own fault.

Flynn, Charles S Rev (-1943)Does not have the Hunstanton Log book' but notes there was a book with cuttings and photographs of the early mission and thinks he handed it over with other Mission papers to his successor. If he does still have them then they'd be stored with is furniture at Sudbury. Canon garnet should be able to provide the required information. The builders [Carter] may reduce their bill by £120; discussion on other adjjustments/contributions; parish may be left with £400 to make up. This is a "priceless little treasure of Our Blessed Lady's".
Hammond, Leo Andrew Rev (1913-1999)Surprised at the issueing of a £300 certificate for Carter's. Stated several times - no money, only a few pounds for running expenses. Carters original estimate was for £500 and no authority was given for extra work required by Ministry of Environment.
