Discussions with the Clerk of Hunstanton UDC regarding Notice served for payment/contribution to road to be constructed by Hunstanton property. 160 feet to be made up at 23/10.5 per foot - total cost to Diocese 190.16.0. Council have been friendly and helpful - exemption of cost is not possible since Fr Flynn has contented that the waste land will eventually be used to build a school.

West Norfolk DC formally refuse planning permission for an application made on 11 July 1974 for a Bungalow on Sandringham Road. Reason: 1. site not deep enough; 2. Dwelling would bear an unsatisfactory relationship with existing dwellings in the area.

The range was provided at cost. The original estimate did not account for the need to make a cylinder specially for the range - which also meant costs associated with new piping and more time from bricklayer and plumber. Requests Fr Heptonstall to meet him on this otherwise he'll be out of pocket.

The priest asked her to assist with the singing. However one of the young ladies there treats her with rudeness and bad behaviour. Being told "to go to Hell" - and after the Summer season being told to clear out - so she did. Describes herself as "one of the fallen but I am not degraded." Being from a "Trocadero". "... in a mission where so little is done one's help is thrust aside, while non-Catholics are allowed their sway."
