Glad the Bishop was happy with the National. Date and theme for next year.
Understands the Bishop's concerns about "The Shrine Management" - Fr Allen is clear in his mind what ti is and makes it clear to the Wal. Assoc., Bernard and John.
Wants to speak to the Bishop about developing the life of prayer in Walsingham. He prefers to talk than write.

Reviewed the figures and spoken to Walsingham Association. Appreciate the need for work to be done however, normal income should cover expenditure without relying on the Association to meet the shortfall. Such donations should be for capital projects. If Shrine Council decides that the Pilgrim Bureau and the Shrine should run at a deficit, then that is another matter, however such a deficit must have a limit.
