"One of Suffolk's most popular parish priests was remembered at a ceremony in the front garden of St Felix RC Church on 27th March. A bench placed in honour of Fr John McNally, who served in the Felixstowe parish from 1993 until his death in 2007, was rededicated by the current parish priest, Fr John Barnes." Story continues.

"In a moving ceremony at the Church of Our Lady and King St Edmund in Hunstanton, Fr Michael Stokes presented the Pope's blessing to two couples and a religious sister, marking significant milestones in their lives.
On 15th June, Michael and Hillary Rhodes (on the right) celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary, while on 25th July, Tom and Elizabeth Koning (in the centre) marked their golden anniversary. Finally, on 28th August, Sr Mary Gonçalves FDC (left) pronounced her vows, making her final profession as a religious sister in the Daughters of Divine Charity.
Pope Francis "invoked an abundance of divine graces" upon them all. The congregation was enthusiastic in its expression of congratulations."

"Fr Luke Goymour from St Thomas of Canterburv in Brandon has been arranging adoration and Benediction in the gardens of some of hIs panishioners. Not someone to be wrong-footed by Covid restrictions, Fr Luke has been taking the Blessed Sacrament to the homes of his parishioners, and blessing them after a short prayer time, either at the front door or In their garden. Some of his parishioners prepared an altar in their garden and he came to their back door for the ceremony. Fr Luke is pictured right with the Blessed Sacramentant and the garden shrine."

"Last Summer a young student attended weekday Mass before her A level exam. She parked in the car park near the examination centre. A parishioner approached and told her she could not park there. "Bishop Alan Hopes used the blessing of the sacred oils at the Chrism Mass a St Johns Cathedral to underline how they were a powerful sign of the Lord's presence among us.
