Writting to Lady Evershed of King's Lynn Preservation Trust. Suggest work required for the repair of the buttress on north east corner. Whilst stabel to date the poor state of the guttering causes water to wash out the mortar and further endanger the buttress. Grants are possible from either AM [Ancient Monuments branch] or from HBC [HGistoric Buildings Commission] - but not both.

"The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has backed a campaign to help save a Catholic church roof by signing one of the slates which will form part of the roof repair. St Mary's church in Yarmouth is currently offering an opportunity to 'Sponsor a Slate' as part of essential work to replace concrete tiles on the church roof. When someone sponsors a slate for £10, they can add a message that will be written in white permanent marker pen and placed on the roof." Story continues.
