"Our Chapels will, therefore, be opened on twenty-fifth of February next, the day appointed for the solemn Fast of the Nation...." - despite this, if circumstances mean one cannot follow the letter of the [Church's] law then follow the spirit of the law.

The use of eggs is allowed for all days except Friday and the last four days. Cheese is forbidden on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday."
