Leaves it to the judgement of the local parish priest - inform him in time for next year's Year Book.
Clark, Alan Charles Rev DD (1919-2002)Thanking Fr Lloyd for his kindness and hospitality during the visitation and for getting his Crozier to Wells. Will think about Blakeney and have a talk with Fr Allen.
Smith, Peter David Gordon Rev LLB JCD (1943-2020)Will be instructing Chris Toller to deal with both presbyteries and make arrangements for letting them.

Brown, Peter RevVisitation programme for 28 and 29 March.
Allen, Peter Rev SM BA MThApproval for anticipatory mass at Wells. Great help to visitors and for residents' moral who feel neglected now "we all live in Walsingham".
Graystone, Philip Rev SM (1921-2014)Sent proceeds of collection direct to CAFOD
Graystone, Philip Rev SM (1921-2014)Met Fr Richmond, Fr Murphy & Canon Mossey - all agree boundaries would take Burnham Thorpe, North Creake and South Creake from Well; and, Brancaster, Docking and Stanhoe from Hunstanton - about 36 - 40 square miles. Fr Richmond thinks the parish is financially comfortable (I think he lives a very spartan existence). Fr Hammond did a Dean's report in 1974 and found the property to be in good shape.
Hammond, Leo Andrew Rev (1913-1999)37 High Street must be modernised. £939 cost; grant from District Council of £400; grant on own house of £400; plus whatever from pools. Has the tablets for the privileged altars at Wells, Walsingham, Burnham Market and the Slipper Chapel. Can the Bishop grant a faculty for one or all of these?
manuscript ps: "The wording for the altars is ALTARE PRIVILEGIATUM"
Will not disturb the Bishop whilst he is at Ushaw. Fr Seahill left on Monday 22 July; Fr Ikegwuenu is helping currently; a holiday priest is arranged; need help from 18 Sept to 14 Oct. Bishop to arrive at Walsingham on Aug 17 and stay until 20th. Been in contact with Mr Hyes, a local solicitor, regarding a water pipe and a Wells property.
Hulme, Gerard Rev (-1978)Acknowledging the Bishop's thanks and thanking the Bishop for the meal he paid for at the White Horse. Happy to know that the Crozier caught up with him at Wells.
Lloyd, Thomas Rev CP (1932-1998)Feeding back reactions from the community at Blakeney following Fr Langley's death and plans for the presbytery.
Suggests the Bishop should meet the couple who might rent the presbytery in Wells
Discussing the matters arising from renting the Blakeney presbytery to Mr& Mrs Hirons.
Fr Rear knows a Bradford couple who could take on the presbytery at Wells.
Will not take action until the Bishop has contacted Mr Toller
Mr A H Cox writing on behalf of the parish committee at St Peter's. Fr Tom confirmed his departure yesterday at their meeting. Naturally there is a concern for the community, which behaves as a parish even if it is not one. A resident priest has been a great advantage but if one cannot be found then they'd welcome the opportunity to talk to the Bishop about it.
ParishionerChatty letter about the misery of wet weather at this time of the year. Thought the pastoral letter too long. Recalls being a child in the second World War (fear at nights, doodlebugs, land mines, incendiary bombs). Describes the help of Canon William Sayers when "Star of the Sea" had its problems. Not yet been able to meet the Celanese priest who is writing a book at Burnham Market.
