"St Mark's Catholic Church in Ipswich began its Advent celebrations with a new Divine Mercy painting, commissioned by Fr Luke Goymour, and crafted by his brother, artist Ben Goymour. The five-foot oil painting replaces a small, faded image of the Divine Mercy, and as Fr Luke says, the new painting "enhances the church", story continues.

"Fr Paul Spellman, from St Mary's in Ipswich, took up the challenge os walking 500,000 steps or more during Lent in aid of a Catholic charity. Fr Paul was aiming to walk 12,500 steps per day, and so complete over 500,000 (at least 220 miles) before the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Maundy Thursday." Story continues

"A dusty unwanted statue in a garden centre has become the central feature of a Carmelite grotto. Fr Paul Vincent OCD of St Mark's Ipswich explained: 'It is a Carmelite tradition that wherever we go we encourage the devotion to Our Lady.
