Part of Guild of Our Lady of Grace / Meryemana

Meryemana Project after launching an appeal for 250,000 has run into unforeseen difficulties and will be seeking another site. Pew removal controversial and insurmountable. Quotation from Dr Heley describing the work undertaken but there is an "irreconcilable difference of outlook... English Heritage want the church as a museum of its own history. We wanted St Nicholas also to have a continuing history", appreciate EH's position but an opportunity has been lost. Meryemana will continue its work and seek an alternative site.
