Diocesan surveyor states that the church building is based on conventional foundations. There is some sign of movement in the walls. Hence suggest using stanchions to support the balcony. These would be set in a reinforced concrete mat and distribute the load evenly across the church.

Copies of the drawings sent to the White House, Poringland. No-one has asked us to do other than be instructed by the Pilgrim Bureau; hence you have not seen the phase 2 planning application. Working to the Bureau's timetable and without other instruction we played safe and used the boundary that Mr Siequence, of the Black Lion Hotel, states he has agreed with the bank. The planning officer is very happy with the proposed scheme developed according to the Pilgrim Bureau brief. Wire and pailing fence erected by Mr Siequence's builders but can be easily flattened in an emergency.
Toller, Christopher FRICS FSVA ACIArb"A fine example of his work, both in design and colour". Discusses the composition crossing mullions. If it were moved ".. very sad to lose the heraldry at the base, and the tracery lights are also incomparable". Provides a quotation from Webb's Obituary by WI Croome in BSMGP which identifies criticism of modern windows in their scale or being discordant with their surroundings whereas "Webb's sensitive feeling for architecture always saved him from this weakness".

I remember the confirmation day; Fr Rudd had arranged a holiday (in Denmark) and the Bp decided to visit but said not to change his holiday. Bp left at 2pm with Fr Rudd leaving at 3pm - must have forgotten the [confirmation] list but will put one before him to send on when he returns.
