Having looked for the Deeds in the Deeds cabinet at Bishop's House marked St Neots and not found them. Should search extend to all other deed envelopes in case St Neots' were misfiled? Provides addresses for two previous parish priests. Unlikely they will have much to offer on this subject.

Fr O'Toole advising Witham Weld that he has the deeds for when the County Council get in touch regarding a strip of land to be exchanged for access to highway with no charge.

Neighbour (a parishioner) is selling a house, building a bungalow in the garden. The buyer wants a garage at the rear as access to common is not permitted. Offer is to sell the land where our current garage is to the parishioner; he will build us a new garage. Map of site attached.

If the Old Catholic Church is a Charity and the Diocese Trustee accepted the property, then the Diocese Trustee would become trustee for a non-catholic body which is outside its own scope. Need to check status with Luker and then seek advice from Witham Weld.

Bishop Charles agrees that central heating and double-glazing is reasonable. Tell Gerry to go ahead and not do the work himself, and no need to ask Kelleher [Witham Weld & Co]. Sick Clergy Fund should be topping up Gerry's income, sufficient for him to have a housekeeper if health requires it.
