Commander Eyre Huddleston feels it to be unsafe to allow unrestricted access & suggests opening arrangements but does he retain the right to close Chapel? Canon Marshall believes he has. Manuscript note: "I shall be glad to hear that you consider these proposal satisfactory."

Thanks him for provisions for Sawston chapel. No need for Blessing as it was a parish church until about 70 years ago & Mass has been said there constantly. Reservation of Blessed Sacrament is only taking up again the practice of bygone years.

Thanking Bishop for the relic of Blessed John Southall. He believes they are also to have a relic of Blessed Philip Howard shortly. Leaving for Rome on Monday for Easter. Does Bishop know of any High Authority who could get permit to Pope's Mass one day.
