Relating to a request to Cardinal Lucido Parocchi (Vicar General of Rome) from Fr Wigglesworth and Fr Fletcher regarding the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Walsingham held King's Lynn.
Pope Leo XIII granted this request on 6 February 1897.
22 February 1897, Bishop countersigned the approval "At an Audience on Feb 6th 1897, His holiness pope Leo XIII assented to the pious prayers of the petitioners, graciously deigned to approve and extel ad effectum de quo agitur the statute of Our Blessed Lady in accordance with the object desired."
