Sisters came 23 July 1903 and for 3 or 4 months had a Dominican or secular priest for all the services. Bishop Riddell then sent Fr Garnett, requesting them to provide £40 per year (plus collection money from the Convent Chapel). Masses were held at the priest's house and when the "little church was opened" services were held their instead. 18 months ago Fr Garnett wanted a rest on Saturdays and masses would be held instead at the Church on a Monday. The writer lists all that they do (including pay the stipend) - there are only 9 parish people. The Bishop is asked to establish a regular service to the Sisters for good order at the Convent.

Thanks the Bishop for his kind and sympathetic letter with its encouragement and advice. Feeling much better and will return from Wisbech to Hunstanton tomorrow. Fr Garnett has given the Bishop the wrong impression. Mass at 8 allows the men from the wireless stations to attend

Does not have the Hunstanton Log book' but notes there was a book with cuttings and photographs of the early mission and thinks he handed it over with other Mission papers to his successor. If he does still have them then they'd be stored with is furniture at Sudbury. Canon garnet should be able to provide the required information. Mr Shanks was the builder who did maintenance work on the bell as well as created the turret and having hung the bell there.
