Contract of purchase for Framlingham land for signature by the Bishop
Witham, Weld and CoContract sum for construction of Open-Sided church is £29,457.00.
Miss McPherson (Bishop's Office) calls it Phase II and the expended sum is £28,549.22 The difference £908.78 being the sum saved can be expended on selected items listed in attached paper. Hence the full amount of the contract sum can be shown to be expended. If the Bishop is in agreement then the writer will inform the Quantity Surveyor.

Writing to Myles Osborne (Diocesan Financial Administrator): Clarifying the position with regard to the Estates Funds and the ability to retain Church, Presbytery and House. Necessary to meet tax liabilities consequently the House (40 Manor Road) will have to be sold but need the Bishop's urgent consent to proceed.
Berry & Walton (1983-2018)Writing to Peter [?] thanking him for pension advice. Encloses a cheque for £1265-10 and lists the collection elements, plus £1000 as a parish deposit. That will be required for church and tower repairs - estimates of £5000-6000 when the church only cost £2000 to build.
