So, as a grant from the Bishop's Conference may be taken as approbation this should be cleared with Alan Clark.

Vicar General, Mgr Ralph Brown, writing to Westminster priests [copied to Diocesan Bishops] warning of an individual who operates under the title The Ecumenical Lay Community of Labretines. This and its associates (The Labretine Oblates of St Benedict; St Benedict's Homeless Community Trust; The Labretine Homeless Trust Fund Ltd) does no have permission to claim the support of the Catholic Church nor the protection of the Archdiocese of Westminster.

Confirming that the fee due for the year ending 31 December 1978 is £3227-30. Since the withdrawal of Brentwood from the arrangement, these losses are spread over the remaining dioceses. Westminster now has to bear £33,656-17.
