Sorry to hear Fr Lloyd would like to leave Blakeney; he has done a wonderful job coping with such meagre resources even if topped up with Ransom money. Arrangements are being made for the Visitation on 28 and 29 March, need to arrange a meeting with Fr Lloyd too. As for Clare [Richards] he feels sorry for her and of the nonsense spoken about the whole thing which perhaps can be put to rest now.

Agrees with Fr Rear's suggestions for 1999's Week of Prayer for Christian Unity and happy for him to go ahead.

Will be instructing Chris Toller to deal with both presbyteries and make arrangements for letting them.

Ordination applicants need to be in full communion for a while before Rome considers them. Outstanding matter needs to be addressed prior to the other becoming a candidate. Need to consider the reader's future role carefully. Chris Toller will be in touch with Paul Hirons about the bungalow soon.

Accepted the request to release the Salvatorians from its commitment to Burnham Market from 5 May 1977.

Bishop writing to Immigration service to renew Fr Dasan's visa so he can continue working as a parish priest.
