The two-year Dowry tour will reach St John the Baptist Cathedral in Norwich from 28 February to 2nd March. The tour is organised by the Shrine at Walsingham and by the Guild of Our Lady of Ransom.

"Bishop Alan Hopes recently celebrated Mass at Poringland for three men in formation for the permanent diaconate. Professor John Morrill reports on the service and their progress. The Mass was held to celebrate the three men in formation in the diocese. They are Gianluca Savini, from St Laurence's parish in Cambridge, who is entering his third year, and Paul Raynes, from St Etheldreda in Ely, and Derek Williams, who lives and works at the Shrine of Our Lady in Walsingham, who are both in their second year." "It's been a few weeks now since Mgr Philip Moger's induction as Rector of the National Shrine at Walsingham. He spoke to Eldred Willey to let people know a little bit more about him. 'Thank you very much,' said the Pope. 'Especially for the silence.' Describes a Mass and Anglican communion service offered simultaneously during an ecumenical pilgrimage to Walsingham last Sunday. 400 Catholics led by Bishop Murphy-O'Connor with 250 Anglicans from the Diocese of Chichester and Bishop Kemp. This was marking the 1300th anniversary of the evangelisation of St Wilfrid of Sussex.
