Advising Bishop he has received letter from his New York House acknowledging his letter enclosing Proof of Claim against Mrs Ten Broeck's Estate for £680 10s with supporting papers. New York are filing Proof of Claim at once & will keep him advised.

Acknowledging letter. He has forwarded copy of it & of all enclosures to New York office. sends copy of letter received from New York office. Send him form of affidavit & asks him to execute it before Commissioner of Deeds, then submit it to the American Consul General in London

Assured him of no urgency re papers Bishop sent him. He has no idea of size of Estate or amount of legacies. Has cabled partner to contact Couderts Bros & enter formal appearances in proceedings on behalf of Bishop & Fr Allen.

He has received a copy of Mrs Ten Broeck's Will which was admitted to probate on Dec 9th 1919. Gathers bequest to Bishop of £2600 sterling is effective as she built no church in March before her death. Real estate worth $60, 000 is subject to mortgage.

Executors have done nothing to wind up Estate of Mrs T. Broeck. Until real estate is sold, Estate has no funds. Validity of amount for erecting church at March recognised but not claim for reimbursement. Asks for any 1917 letters from Mrs Ten Broek.

Re Mrs T. Broeck's Estate. Enclosed copy of letter from Kingsbury objecting to claim [March 033]. New York office disagree, gives reasons. Also say Bishop would not be able to testify but Fr Allen might be allowed. Advises formal announcement of suit to preserve his rights.

Enc draft of affidavit. Asks him to check facts are correct. Gives advice re name of claimants. Asks that a copy of any earlier letter from Mrs Ten Broeck, such as one accompanying 1st payment & referring to agreement, be attached to Claim
