Fr Nesden is your parish priest; happy for Dersingham to be in the care of Fr Flynn. No problems in saying Mass. Don't go too fast about "Proposed new Church Building" - some prior discussion is necessary.

Will need to speak to Fr Nesden and Fr Shryane. Currently reduced numbers of priests means unlikely to establish a priest in Dersingham. Also, need to think carefully about establishing a mass centre - tell more about the Catholics you have identified.
Clark, Alan Charles Rev DD (1919-2002)Confusion over Foundation Mass arrangements partly due to handover between priests. Apologises for hurt due to a genuine misunderstanding - apologies have also been provide by the priest and the Deacon.
Smith, Peter David Gordon Rev LLB JCD (1943-2020)Thanks Deacon Matthews for his temporary arrangements. Ought not to alter Mass times - so if no supply, do lead a Eucharistic service. The matter is being addressed.
Matthews, Len RevDeacon Matthews is doing his best; Fr Ryan is an old man and cannot supply at all 9.30 Masses. Deacon Matthews is under great strain - he collapsed while at the Convent in Massingham; we are worried for his health. Why are married convert priests ordained into the Catholic priesthood but married convert deacons are not?
CorrespondentFr Dobson not celebrating Mass at St Cecilia's (current attendance 75-100) requires arrangements for supply: Canon David Ryan (retired) will celebrate Sunday 9.30am Mass when he can; perhaps Marist fathers at Walsingham; or Fr Brian O'Reilly (Massingham) might assist. Failing that Deacon Matthews will offer a Eucharistic service with a ciborium filled with reserved Sacrament. .
Matthews, Len RevDersingham Catholic Group (Chair, C Handley): Miss Insley's house left for priest accommodation is occupied by Fr Flynn. Requesting that the Bishop grant permission for Fr Flynn to say Masses in the Community Centre, this house, or St Nicholas Church (CoE, Dersingham) to hold trial Masses in readiness for new Church building.
CorrespondentProgress so far: value of estate established at £330,000. Survey of area identified 158 Catholics - possibly 200 in total. Plan to refurbish the house - sufficient for an Oratory/Chapel in one large ground floor room. The can seek a priest to reside temporarily; he could say mass in a local hall. Hope then to be able to persuade the Bishop to build a church in the village. Fr Nesden is kept informed.
