Parker, Thomas Leo Rev (1887-1975)Mr G Webb is making a window for Slipper Chapel, Walsingham. Stated that the chapel is excluded from the Ancient Monuments Act, however, notices have been served on the Bishop that churches have been scheduled under the Town & Country Planning Act 1947, Section 7.
The Bishop explains that work needs to be done to preserve the buildings and render them useful. Asks for an "interview" to discuss the proposals for work.

Marshal, James Bernard Rev MA MC (1878-1946)Covering letter from Cardinal John Simeoni & the Archbishop of Tyre for a letter (translated into English) from the Sacred Congregation of the Propegation of the Faith declaring that Catholics should be dissuaded from sending their sons to Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
Commenting on the "heresy" to be found in a course advertised in the weekly new sheet from Our Lady and the English Martyrs in Cambridge. It was run by the Diocesan education Department. The writer quotes from the course, course material and a book he bought subsequently. Considers "Informed Criticism" will demolish all belief - "surely we must have some form of indoctrination?"
