"Pope Benedict XV
"Translation
"For a perpetual Memorial.
"Inasmuch as We are informed that in the Parish Church of St John the Baptist at Norwich in the Diocese of Northamptonshire there is exposed to public veneration a Picture of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, similar to that venerated in the Church of St Alphonsus in Rome.
"We, moved with paternal charity, and desirous of increasing the spirit of religion and obtaining the salvation of Souls, urged moreover by the request of Our Beloved Son, His Eminence the Grand Cardinal of Penitentiary, do mercifully grant in the Lord -
To each and all the Faithful of either sex, who (being truly penitent, absolved, and refreshed by Holy Communion) shall devoutly visit the aforesaid Church and Picture, on the day of solemn inauguration of that Picture, and on every anniversary of that day, also on the Feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, and on any of the seven days immediately following these Feasts, and shall there offer pious prayer to God for peace between Christian princes for the destruction of heresy, the conversion of sinners, and the exaltation of Holy Mother Church: on each of these days We grant a Plenary Indulgence and REmission of all their sins.
"Further, the Faithful who are at least contrite in heart and visit on any day of the year the aforesaid Church and Picture, and there pray as above, We exempt according to the accustomed form of the Church, Three hundred days from the penances imposed upon them or incurred in any other manner.
"All these Indulgences, Remissions, and Exemptions, We permit to be applied by way of suffrage for the Souls of the Faithful in Purgatory,
"These Presents to hold good from now and henceforth, notwithstanding anything to the contrary.
"Given in Rome at St Peter's under the Seal of the Fisherman, the 13th day of July 1920, in the Sixth year of our Pontificate.
"For Cardinal Gasparri, Secretary of State.

St John the Baptist, Cathedral Parish, Norwich1 reel of 400ft of film - initially content unknown. Following digitising, the content is identified on the first few frames as "Reel One" / “Customer USN” / “Tailcone Attacks” / “Title Series 2 / “Prod M1154”
This appears to be part of WW2-era equipment used for training rear gunners on bombers for situations when their plane comes under attack by (various) fighters - mainly Japanese aircraft but also 2 German planes (Messerschmitt 109 and 110). It is possible that US aircrew were being trained in Norfolk for the Pacific Theatre.
