              Congregation wish to honour Canon Eeles in one of three ways: A Foundation Mass; A brass plaque (similar to the one for Fr Wigglesworth; a 6ft Crucifix in the cemetery. The altar idea has been dropped. Collectors anxious to get to work. Brass plaque design to show the Canon in his robes.

              Arrangements for supply whilst away in Rome. Memorial is going well - secured the white marble 6ft crucifix for the grave. Cheque for the Foundation mass to be send on soon. Have also been offered two pulpits!
              manuscript annotation: "Ans.: 1. Burrows must be examined for Confs before he goes to you. He may duplicate. 2. Send me plans of pulpit before you accept it; this is very binding! May 3/27."
